The cooperation label is awarded to organisations applying for it who promote the well-being and health of children, young people and families with children through their own activities.
Promoting the well-being of children, young people and families with children is a joint task. The operations of companies, organisations and other associations play a major role in promoting and maintaining the well-being of the city’s residents. That’s why various organisations are an important part of Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki (HKS), as well.
Companies, organisations and other associations can apply for the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki cooperation label. The label says that through their operations, the company or organisation promotes the well-being of children, young people and families.
The cooperation label is managed by the City of Seinäjoki and granted by the HKS Steering Group set up by the City of Seinäjoki. The steering group consists of actors from various sectors in the city, as well as from the Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences SeAMK, Into Seinäjoki, Sedu and the health care district. The organisations in the steering group are represented by the Mannerheim League for Child Welfare.
The application process consists of two steps. The applicant fills in an electronic application form asking for grounds for applying for the label. After completing and submitting the application form, the HKS Steering Group evaluates the application and invites the applicant for an interview. Based on the application and the interview, the steering group makes its decision on the granting of the cooperation label.
In order to have access to the cooperation label, the applicant must meet the following criteria:
- Through their operations, the applicant promotes the well-being of children, young people and families.
- The applicant commits to act in accordance with the values of Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki (in Finnish).
- The applicant commits to the rules of the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki society (in Finnish).
After the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki cooperation label has been awarded, the applicant is granted access to the label until further notice. For example, you can use the label in your brochures or on your website. The access to the cooperation labels is organisation-specific. The responsible use of the label is monitored by regular contacts and meetings. More detailed instructions on the use of the cooperation label are described in the rules of the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki society.
