We are happy to introduce Eero Haapala as a keynote! Eero Haapala, PhD, is a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and his position is located at the Faculty of Sport and Health Sciences.
Higher levels of physical activity have been associated with decreased adiposity and favourable cardiometabolic risk factor levels and better bone health in children. Evidence on the positive associations between physical activity and academic achievement is also emerging. This presentation explores the current evidence on the effects of physical activity on academic achievement and the effects of different learning environments on physical activity levels in children. The topic of the presentation is: The evidence on the effects of physical activity on academic achievement in youth.
