Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki Development Platform


The Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki Platform (HKS) is built for health promotion innovations in services, education, research and industry. HKS was founded in 2018, and its roots are in the Overcoming Obesity Programme of the city of Seinäjoki. HKS aims for the overall improvement in the well-being of children and families. In addition to the city, the multi-sectoral HKS Development Platform network includes communities and companies that are involved in improving the well-being of the people and environment. The HKS is managed by a mayor-appointed steering group that includes representation from the city of Seinäjoki, Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences and Into Seinäjoki Ltd.
