The first international Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki conference achieved its objectives. The conference programme was versatile and filled with interesting lectures by experts from Finland and abroad. Over 100 people from countries such as Finland, Sweden, Austria, New Zealand, and South Korea visited the conference.

The diverse conference programme reflected the multidisciplinary development work performed in Seinäjoki to promote the well-being of children and adolescents. The Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki development platform got off to a noticeable start by launching business, education, and research collaboration. The platform has now attained visibility, which also brings responsibility and requires continuous development and commitment in all city sectors, educational and development organisations, and businesses. In future, the Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki development platform will engage all the operators in joint development work at the local, national, and international level.

The conference organisation would like to thank all of the participants and the parties involved in the realisation of the conference. Particularly the visits to daycare centres and schools made an impression on the guests.
