3rd Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki International Conference

City of Seinäjoki with the support of Seinäjoki University of Applied Sciences (SeAMK) and Into Seinäjoki Business Development and Innovation Center, Finland, wish to invite you to present a paper or / and a poster on:

The Promotion of Health and Wellbeing of Children, Adolescents and their Families

Theme 1: Healthy Kids Programmes and Interventions

Theme 2: Evidence based Practices in Obesity Prevention

Theme 3: Youth Empowerment and Health

The Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki Conference will bring together professionals from different fields in public services, educators and researchers, representatives from the working life as well as students from Finland and other countries. The Conference offers a multidisciplinary platform for a wide range of fields related to the promotion of health and wellbeing of children, adolescents and their families.

Papers and posters, from the academic staff, researchers, professionals from the public sector and companies and from students, which present both theoretical framework and research drawn on empirical data are welcome. Innovative educational and developmental experiences or examples of ‘good practice’ as well as proposals on potential future projects in any of the thematic areas are also encouraged.

Extended Deadline is 31st January 2020 for the Abstracts of not more than 400 words (title, authors, introduction, materials and methods, results and discussion).

You will receive an e-mail confirming that your abstract has been received.

If the abstract is accepted, authors will be invited for an oral presentation or to have a poster presentation during the conference programme. You must also indicate that there are not any commercial interests and associations that may pose a conflict of interest. Please, confirm also your willingness to allow your abstract, if accepted, to be listed in the conference programme. It may also be published in Proceedings of the 3rd International Healthy Kids of Seinäjoki Conference. Please note that at least one author must register in full to attend and present the abstract at the Conference.
