Antti Blom, Programme Director, Finnish Schools on the Move -programme. Finnish Schools on the Move is a national action programme aiming to establish a physically active culture in Finnish comprehensive schools. Schools and municipalities participating in the programme implement their own individual plans to increase physical activity during the school day. Antti has been working as the Programme Director since beginning (spring 2010) of the Finnish School on the Move -programme, in Finnish National Agency for Education. Antti is responsible for leading the programme implementation at every level; administration, local level and schools. Antti is father of three daughters. He loves ice hockey and in summer time gardening.

Jae-Heon Kang is a professor of medicine at Sungkyunkwan University, College of Medicine. He received his M. D. degree, Master of Public Health degree on epidemiology and Ph.D on preventive medicine from Seoul National University, College of Medicine. 

His contributions using his expertise in obesity has been honored by various government bodies. He has received commendation from Prime Minister for contribution to health promotion and obesity prevention in 2011, commendation from Minister of Education for contribution to Official Development Assistance in 2015, and Decoration for contribution to Health promotion of Koreans in 2017.
He is the director of “Class on the Move, Healthy School” Project.

His current research interests include the development of IT-BT combined platform technology for management of child-adolescent obesity, clinical effectiveness and cost-benefit analysis of surgery and pharmacotherapy in morbid obesity patients, development of mobile healthcare services in public health centers. Furthermore, he has been carrying out a national cohort study on child-adolescent obesity since 2005, funded by the Korea Center for Disease Control.

Päivi Mäki, MSc, development manager, THL, is a coordinator of the Finnish Obesity Prevention Programme. Her work focusses on contacts to municipalities and other key organizations and actors involved in work related to obesity prevention especially among children. She has been working in THL since 2006 in various expert functions including the development of child health monitoring systems in Finland and the use of register based data in monitoring childhood obesity. Susanna Kosonen has a Master’s degree in Education (M.A.) (Kindergarten Teacher, Class teacher, Subject teacher and Guidance counselor) and Art Education & Aesthetics (M.A.).
She has been working for the Finnish Association for Mental Health since 2013 promoting mental health of children and young people in development projects with teachers in basic schools, in vocational schools and gymnasiums, with youth workers and with early childhood educators and child health clinic nurses. She has co-authored a book “Child’s Mind – Mental health promotion in early childhood education and in child health clinics” and authored “Lovely art by Venny and Eero –back of art cards for children”.
